Hello and welcome to Saffron Players NEW web site. Saffron Players was established in 1980 by local people and performs a pantomime in January and a play in the summer every year. Our pantomimes prove very popular among young local audiences.  This year’s pantomime is set to be ground breaking and one of the funniest we have ever staged!

Our 2009 summer play, “Cold Comfort Farm” was part of the Saffron Walden Arts Festival. The festival looks set to repeat next year and gave people the chance to see a variety of artistic endeavours over the period of a long weekend (great idea!). Music, dance, theatre, art, poetry & cinema came together for the spectacle and it appears local people flocked to the events across Saffron Walden making it a huge success. Thanks to everyone who came to see our play.
